  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Arrange marinated wings on the baking sheet in a single layer, reserving excess marinade.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. In a small saucepan, bring reserved marinade to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  7. Brush cooked wings with thickened marinade and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
