Spinach Feta Pasta Bake is a creamy and cheesy delight that combines the nutritious goodness of fresh spinach with tangy feta cheese.   • 300 g penne or fusilli pasta
  • 200 g fresh spinach
  • 150 g crumbled feta cheese
  • 200 ml crème fraîche
  • 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 50 g grated parmesan (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté onion and garlic until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, spinach mixture, crumbled feta, and crème fraîche. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
