  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour and salt. Mix in dry yeast.
  2. Stir in chopped spinach.
  3. In another bowl, mix hot water and olive oil; add to the flour mixture and knead until smooth.
  4. Cover dough with a clean towel and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Roll out dough on a floured surface to form the crust.
  7. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the crust.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, followed by chicken ham, onions, and bell peppers.
  9. Season with oregano and black pepper.
  10. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese melts.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
