Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g finely sliced beef
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Hot sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 to 6 minutes. Season with chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper; mix well to coat the meat with spices.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Once the beef is cooked, layer provolone cheese on top and cover until melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Cut hoagie rolls in half and place on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5 minutes or until slightly crispy.
  5. Remove rolls from the oven, fill each with the beef and vegetable mixture, and add hot sauce as desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
