Spicy Mac and Cheese Bites are a delightful twist on the classic comfort food, perfect for snacking or serving at parties. These crispy, cheesy bites are packed with flavor from cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and a kick of cayenne pepper.   • 200 g macaroni
  • 250 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 120 ml milk
  • 60 g breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and milk over low heat until smooth.
  3. Stir in paprika, cayenne pepper, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and salt. Fold in the cooked macaroni.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. In one bowl, beat the eggs; in another bowl, place breadcrumbs.
  6. Form bite-sized balls from the macaroni mixture, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat. Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
