  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (to taste)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
  • Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, jalapeño, hot sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into four patties (about 125 g each).
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  3. Lightly toast the burger buns in another pan or toaster.
  4. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with lemon juice to create a creamy sauce.
  5. Assemble burgers: spread the mayonnaise on each bun half, add a patty with cheese, avocado slices, lettuce, tomato slices, and turkey bacon.
  6. Close the burgers with the top bun and serve immediately with fries or salad.
