  • 1 cup clover honey
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp white distilled vinegar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 cup sour cream (Daisy brand)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line your cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and honey until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and vinegar. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow cakes to cool completely before removing from pans.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine Cool Whip and sour cream to make the frosting.
  7. Layer the cooled cakes with the sour cream frosting in between, then frost the top and sides of the cake. Use leftover crumbs for decoration.
