  • 1 refrigerated pie crust roll
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 tsp maple flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp maple flavoring (for glaze)
  • 1 Tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยบF.
  2. In a bowl, combine canned pumpkin, brown sugar, maple flavoring, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface into a thin rectangle (6×22 inches) and cut into 8 rectangles.
  4. On one rectangle, spoon the pumpkin filling in the center and leave space around the edges for crimping.
  5. Place another rectangle on top and press down to seal the edges using a fork to crimp them.
  6. Repeat with remaining rectangles and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes until lightly browned at the edges.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, maple flavoring, and milk in a small bowl. Once cooled, drizzle over poptarts and let the glaze harden before serving.
