Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons peppermint extract
  • â…› teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups dark melting chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract. Gradually add half the powdered sugar until a dough forms.
  2. Sprinkle powdered sugar on parchment paper and knead the dough. Roll into a ½-inch thick circle, dusting with more powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
  3. Cut circles using a cookie cutter or glass. If too warm, freeze for 15 minutes before cutting. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for another 15 minutes.
  4. Melt dark chocolate in intervals in the microwave, stirring to avoid burning. Let cool slightly.
  5. Dip each patty into melted chocolate with a fork, coating both sides, then place back on the parchment-lined sheet. Add sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
