Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or mix-ins of choice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat softened butter, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix on low speed until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips or your preferred mix-ins until evenly distributed.
  5. Optional: Chill dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for firmer texture.
  6. If baking, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
