  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Microwave the cream cheese until soft; cut into small pieces and set aside.
  2. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet.

  5. Stir in minced garlic; cook for an additional 30 seconds.
