  • 15 maraschino cherries (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together ¼ cup powdered sugar and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in flour, oats, coconut, walnuts, and salt; gently fold in chopped cherries.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for about 18 minutes or until slightly golden.
  6. Roll warm cookies in remaining powdered sugar to coat completely.
